When Purchasing Oak Coffee Tables

We moved into our present home about five years ago. Our previous home was a ten year old house, but it paled into insignificance when compared to the century old lake house that is now our present home.As is traditional, we brought the furniture and accessories that we had used in our former home. But because our lake home was fitted with oak trims it became inevitable that we had to change some of the accessories. So we decided to start with the maple occasional tables and replace them with oak coffee tables. Read more »

We have several pieces of outdoor furniture made custom

We have several pieces of outdoor furniture. We had most of it made custom out of wood.

Our nice picnic table is ten feet long and four and half feet wide. Needless to say, it has plenty of room.

We have seated up to twelve people at it at one time. When we had it custom made, we went ahead and had it stained also.

Decorating living room 12ft by 12ft

My living room is about 12ft by 12ft. The furniture that is in it has either been given to me or I have purchased it. I am not picky about my furniture because it is one of my first apartments and I don’t see the point in spending a lot of money on furniture unless it is for comfort.

There is one off white couch that can seat about three people comfortable. I purchased it in a used furniture store, where in its previously life, it was rented. I am unaware of the brand, but I chose it because it was comfortable, wasn’t ugly (it was plain), and was a good price (about $199).

The color does get dirty easily, but the off white can match just about anything and you can add all sorts of throw pillows to jazz it up. There is also a brown coffee table that was given to me by my sister. It is fake wood, but it gets the job done.

I use it to put my feet up on when I’m sitting on the couch, or to put my lab top on it. I plan to pant it black one day to match the other things in the living room. The TV stand, fish tank stand and book case are all black. Read more »

Most of the furniture in the living room is second hand

I live in an apartment with a modest sized living room. Most of the furniture in the living room is second hand. I have a sofa that the cats have shredded so I cover it.

The computer is there with a desk. There is a small TV and a stereo that sits on a coffee table. I have a baker’s rack that I put together myself.

I use it to display knick knacks and as display area for holiday decorations. I have a metal shelf for books and lots of books. I also have two side tables for the phone and a lamp.

The living room does not have an over head light so I need two lamps for lighting. I also store other things in the living room like CDs, DVDs and video games. Read more »

The living room furniture I get will need to be child friendly

Unfortunately the furniture in my living room was purchased for my basement movie room in my last house.

Our new house is much larger and we needed to use this furniture in the family room.

We have an overstuffed love seat and Couch with recliners on both ends. They are a creme color.

In addition I have a tile top coffee table, brown and yellow tones.

I have two end tables that are a dark brown color and an occasional table with mirror hanging above it. Read more »

Furniture outlet WOW, Fort Lawn, South Carolina, US

I went to a furniture outlet looking for a rug and a coffee table. I am a stay at home and we are on a budget so I was looking for good deals. The name of the Outlet is WOW.

It is in Fort Lawn, South Carolina in the United States. It actually just opened. They opened this in an old textile mill that went out of business.

Wow is a huge place that covers 14 acres and there are so many things to chose from. I actually did not purchase anything because I want to look around a little more. Read more »
